Hometown Buffet in Bridgeton

The food is GOOD, however, whenever you dine there, be mindful of what you are charged. The "host" tried to tell me that the buffet was $30.××, when I questioned this he said that it was the senior citizens rate.I said that the sign states that the adult menu price was just over 16 per person.He then changed the price.Sounds like stealing to me, especially when you consider that any tip you put on you check is given directly to you from the register

Went there for dinner only because my boyfriend likes the place... Very overpriced! Salad bar was dirty with brown lettuce and dry Yes dry jello...i never knew broccoli could be dehydrated from heat lamp..fried chicken was over over fried.. Meat carving station was unattended with burnt meat laying out. Very appetizing.dried out rice, noodles were originating back to being put in the bag. Corn on the cob was atrocious looking. I had only salad bar after picking out the bad vegetables. Ranch dressing watered down, tried blue cheese instead. Very disappointing for what could be a good buffet.

Omg just don’t go here ! I tried to give them a chance despite the terrible reviews... THESE REVIEWS ARE SO TRUE THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! The heavy set black guy (im black don’t start) was taking money and stocking the salad bar without washing his hands or using gloves after taking money. I saw a skinny black guy at the carving station pour hot water on a ham to “revive” it. They had minced fish patties !!! MINCED FISH patties as fried fish ! Everything was old , tasteless , and just plain TERRIBLE. The restaurant itself is run down and very dirty. However on a positive note the only thing that’s edible was the taco bar (which I also never saw anyone change or check for freshness). This place probably should be closed

Highly disgusted, found 2 worms in the food, went to show the cashier and she would not look. She went to get the manager and tried to only void out the meal with the worms. As we left she gave dirty looks. I would NOT recommend eating here.

No, no, and no. I don't mine a buffet, even a cheap buffet, but there is a certain minimum standard for quality I want in it, and this place simply does not meet that standard. The place was clean, the staff was reasonably friendly, but the food was just abysmal and its been that way every time I've been dragged there.

Went to lunch since they have a deal for military and veteran's. Great food and cost less for our family to eat there than McDonald's for lunch.

Honestly, I just really don't like buffets. So, take my review with a grain of salt. But the staff is friendly. The only buffet I like is Shady Maple in East Earl, PA. That's good food

Hungry grandkids with varying tastes ... all satisfied and at a reasonable price. Great after school meal.

Food is good dishes and utensil aren't always clean.

The food was either over or under cooked. The bread too yeasty, the spaghetti sauce too salty, Mac n cheese was gritty, and gravy for the potatoes was just plain nasty. The gravy! Most of the staff seemed lazy and often absent from the restaurant floor. Only the busser was working his butt off and was very polite. It is very sad to see the place decline so much. I hope they can get it together or be replaced with something better.

Very clean place. We had a little trouble finding it as we were traveling. Very courteous service. Typical fare for buffets. Would return.

Lunch not so good but dinner is great

Most of the staff was rude, for 4 people it was $63.00, and the food was terrible! They had great rice crispy treats, and for as much as we paid, that's all I ate, and enjoyed. The macaroni and cheese way so watery and nasty that I had to keep running to the bathroom to throw up. The bathrooms smelled absolutely disgusting and not only did some of the bathroom stalls not lock, but they were really nasty. There was hair and urine everywhere, and they looked like their bathrooms have never been cleaned. Absolutely terrible. I will never go back. The inside looks great, but the inside is awful!

This is ok food at ok prices for ok people. They have pretty good variety, and soup was surprisingly tasty. Ribs were also very tender.

The food was literally Trash! Very small selection of food and it tastes old! Even the fries are disgusting! Everything from the salad to the broccoli to the steamed veggies was trash!!! I couldn't even put vinegar and oil on my salad the bottles were filthy and the oil wasn't even distinguishable! They had to throw it out! No type of pride in the food just- whatever. Do not eat here- save your money its not worth it 😵

I was in HEAVEN!!! The food was AWESOME and dessert was delicious!!! The warm fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream put me to sleep!!! I was done!!!😂😂😂

$50 for 3 people, the selection was poor, quality of food was poor, messy and probably breaking a few health codes from the looks of it. Too expensive for what you get for quality. Won’t be going back and don’t recommend.
